A Little Green Journey
From seed to fork, discover the steps behind growing fresh, flavourful microgreens.

The Seed to Fork Journey
Every microgreen has a story. It starts with a seed, careful growing and plenty of attention along the way. From the first sprout to the moment it lands on your plate, I grow each variety with flavour, freshness and the way you’ll enjoy it in mind.
Because microgreens aren’t just garnish. They’re fresh ingredients, grown to bring a little more flavour, colour and something special to the food you already love.

1. Selecting the Seed
Each variety is handpick based on their unique flavour, vibrant colour, delicate texture, and optimal growing characteristics, ensuring they perform exceptionally as microgreens.

2. Preparing the Growing Medium
Each crop is nurtured from a carefully prepared growing medium, providing the perfect foundation for healthy, consistent growth and ensuring robust microgreens.

3. Seeding with Intention
Every variety requires a precise seeding rate. Too little results in sparse crops, while too much can cause competition and poor airflow, impacting overall quality and yield.

4. Germination & Blackout
Trays are closely monitored for optimal moisture, temperature, and germination, allowing young seedlings to establish strong roots and begin their vibrant growth.

5. Light, Water & Airflow
Once emerged, the greens receive carefully managed light, water, and airflow. Daily observation is key to ensuring perfect growing conditions for each delicate sprout.

6. Watching the Crop
Every variety grows distinctly. I diligently look for signs of stress, uneven growth, or moisture issues that could impact the superior quality of the microgreens.

7. Harvesting at the Right Moment
Timing is everything. These little greens are harvested precisely when they reach their peak flavour and nutritional value, ensuring maximum freshness and taste for your dishes.

8. Pairing flavour to the perfect dish
Every variety of microgreen has its own personality - peppery, sweet, spicy, earthy or fresh. There is nothing more satisfying than finding the perfect dish where those flavours truly shine, elevating not only the dish itself, but the mood and experience around it. It's those little touches that make a meal feel special, satisfying, and memorable.

9. Sharing the table
Because food is meant to be shared. The final step is the best one: brining food to the table, passing plates and tasting the combination, laughing, and enjoying something delicious while seeing how those little greens transform each plate.
